Color Frenzy Convertible Bracelet Necklace

Many of my customers have been asking me to make available How To's while they're
examining my finished jewelry. I have done this for several magazine's and now I'm
making them available on my web site. I'll continue to add new ones and some designs
will have kits available. Regardless, all the components needed to make any of these
designs are available in my Etsy store.

Color Frenzy Convertible Bracelet/Necklace
Assembly Instructions
Original design by Yvonne Irvin

No. 1  Layout chain to desired wrist length add 1/2" cut 2X.

No. 2  Using 12ga color wire wrap each on different shapes of Multi-Mandrel in sizes #6 thru #3.

No. 3  After all coils are made use your hands to stretch coils a bit just so you can snip each one with your cutters to make a jump ring. Set aside each color pile.

No. 4  Cut small lengths of all 4mm tubing 1/4" and under. Using your fingers push each piece on the end of all jump rings - then add various beads and O-rings.

No. 5  In random fashion start with one end of the chain lengths and connect both chains with the jump rings then close each jump and slide the 4mm tubing over the seam of jump ring to secure.

No. 6  Do this all the way thru until you are happy with the look of your bracelet.
SPECIAL NOTE: You can save a few and make matching earrings.

No. 7  Using the 2mm tubing tie random knots throughout the bracelet until aesthetically pleasing to you.

No. 8  Using 16ga jump rings attach strong MAG-LOK (magnetic clasp) to each end.

No. 9  Measure two lengths of chain for the necklace converter to your desired length – including the bracelet. Cut chain and add MAG-LOK to each end.

No. 10  Enjoy your convertible bracelet/necklace!

Pictured below are sample coils of all my new, smaller gauge tubing. It is just like
my original, but 3mm wide with a 1mm hole. Same endless possibilities
(can be bent-tied-fed with wire, add some beads and have a fab bracelet!)
in a smaller size for your more delicate projects. Check out the new colors!
As always this can be purchased at any of my shows and through my Etsy store.
